OpenTabs plugin for Wikipedia — gives AI agents access to Wikipedia through your authenticated browser session.

Install

opentabs plugin install wikipedia

Or install globally via npm:

npm install -g @opentabs-dev/opentabs-plugin-wikipedia

Setup

  1. Open wikipedia.org in Chrome and log in
  2. Open the OpenTabs side panel — the Wikipedia plugin should appear as ready

How It Works

This plugin runs inside your Wikipedia tab through the OpenTabs Chrome extension. It uses your existing browser session — no API tokens or OAuth apps required. All operations happen as you, with your permissions.
