    RYO Terminal — local-first AI coding assistant.

    npm install -g @ryo_cli/cli
ryo

    Works fully offline with Ollama, or connect to cloud providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, OpenRouter).

    Quick start

    npm install -g @ryo_cli/cli
ryo

    Updating:

    ryo update

    Requirements

    • A terminal with 24-bit color and modern Unicode support
    • Ollama (optional — works offline) or API keys for cloud providers

    How it works

    This package is a lightweight installer (≈5 KB). On npm install -g, it downloads the compiled binary for your platform from GitHub Releases and installs it to ~/.ryo/bin/ryo.
