@xutl/json

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (@xutl/json) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

One eXtremely Useful Tool Library to handle JSON with comments and reading/writing JSON files.

Install

npm install --save-dev @xutl/json

Usage

import JSON from '@xutl/json';
import { parse, stringify, read, write, readSync, writeSync } from '@xutl/json'; // alternative

// parse/stringify are drop in replacements for their default counterparts excpet they allow comments.

const content = await JSON.read(filename);
await JSON.write(filename, content);

// readSync/writeSync are the synchronous equivalents and take the same arguments
