This addon will format your large numbers into an easy to read form like so: {number-abbr 13460921} -> '13.5M' with tons of additional configurations.

    Package Exports

    • ember-cli-number-abbr

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (ember-cli-number-abbr) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

    Build Status Code Climate

This addon provides you with a helper that formats large numbers in a human readable form. It's quite straight forward, just have a look at the examples below:

    Examples

    The most basic example:

    <label>{{number-abbr 14984374}}</label>
    <label>{{number-abbr 1000000000000000000000000000000000}}</label>
    <label>15M</label>
    <label>1Dec</label>

    You can change the delimiter:

    <label>{{number-abbr 1728437411}}</label>
    <label>{{number-abbr 1728437411 ','}}</label>
    <label>1.72M</label>
    <label>1,72M</label>

You can change the precision (amount of significant numbers rather then decimal places. this is usefull for styling):

    <label>{{number-abbr 1728437411 '.' 5}}</label>
    <label>1.72843M</label>

You can enable padding so your numbers will allways have a fixed width:

    <label>{{number-abbr 14100000000 '.' 4}}</label>
    <label>{{number-abbr 14100000000 '.' 4 true}}</label>
    <label>14.1B</label>
    <label>14.100B</label>

You can provide your own list of abbreviations:

      withSpaces: ['', ' K', ' M' , ' B', ' T', ' Qua', ' Qui', ' Sex', ' Sep', ' Oct', ' Non', ' Dec'],
      withSpaces: ['', ' Thousand', ' Million' , ' Billion', '...'],
      theRealThing: ['', ' Thousand', ' Million' , ' Milliard', '...'],
    <label>{{number-abbr 14100000000 '.' 4 withSpaces}}</label>
    <label>{{number-abbr 12100000000 '.' 4 fullWords}}</label>
    <label>{{number-abbr 12100000000 '.' 4 theRealThing}}</label>
    <label>14.1 B</label>
    <label>12.100 Billion</label>
    <label>12.100 Milliard</label>
