This is a plugin for [insomnia](https://insomnia.rest) for exporting its request data in Postman format.

Package Exports

  • insomnia-plugin-postman-export
  • insomnia-plugin-postman-export/main.js

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (insomnia-plugin-postman-export) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

insomnia-plugin-postman-export

Update (May 2024): Recently, Postman seems to have added Insomnia import natively - https://learning.postman.com/docs/getting-started/importing-and-exporting/importing-from-insomnia/. Though I haven't tested it yet. Nevertheless, this plugin probably won't be needed anymore.

  • Adds 'Export as Postman Collection' option in Collection (Workspace) menu
  • Requests can be selected via regex or a csv of request ids (the filters don't work at folder levels currently)
  • See todo section in main.js for limitations and enhancement plans. (Also have some todos listed here, some of which were done as part of the the rejected PR but need to be added to the plugin also.)
  • Based on https://github.com/Vyoam/InsomniaToPostmanFormat
