PostCSS plugin for resetting flexbox

Package Exports

  • postcss-flexbox-reset
  • postcss-flexbox-reset/index.js

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (postcss-flexbox-reset) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

PostCSS Flexbox Reset

npm Build Status npm

PostCSS plugin for resetting flexbox. This plugin adds rule min-width:0 to all direct descendants of element display: flex.

Let’s say you want to truncate labels in flexbox layout. Without resetting flex items, it doesn't work. When you apply min-width:0 to flex items, layout works as expected.

This was just one example, but you will come across similar funky issues in your flexbox layouts in different browsers. You can read my whole story here.

/* Input example */
.foo {
  display: flex;
}
/* Output example */
.foo {
  display: flex;
}

.foo > * {
  min-width: 0;
}

  plugins: [
+   require('postcss-flexbox-reset'),
    require('autoprefixer')
