Package Exports

@opentelemetry/semantic-conventions

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (@opentelemetry/semantic-conventions) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

OpenTelemetry Semantic Conventions

Semantic Convention constants for use with the OpenTelemetry SDK/APIs. This document defines standard attributes for traces.

Installation

npm install --save @opentelemetry/semantic-conventions

Usage

import { GeneralAttribute } from '@opentelemetry/semantic-conventions';

const span = tracer.startSpan().startSpan(spanName, spanOptions)
  .setAttributes({
    [GeneralAttribute.NET_PEER_HOSTNAME]: 'localhost',
  });
