Package Exports
- @stdlib/iter-dedupe-by
This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (@stdlib/iter-dedupe-by) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

iterDedupeBy
Create an iterator which removes consecutive values that resolve to the same value according to a provided function.

Returns an iterator which removes consecutive values that resolve to the same value according to a provided function.

// returns trueThe returned iterator protocol-compliant object has the following properties:
- next: function which returns an iterator protocol-compliant object containing the next iterated value (if one exists) assigned to a
valueproperty and adoneproperty having abooleanvalue indicating whether the iterator is finished. - return: function which closes an iterator and returns a single (optional) argument in an iterator protocol-compliant object.
The callback function is provided five arguments:
- curr: current source iterated value.
- sprev: previous source iterated value.
- dprev: previous downstream iterated value.
- index: source iteration index (zero-based).
- acc: previous resolved value.
The returned iterator removes consecutive values which resolve to the same value and does not return globally "unique" values.
