Package Exports
- @stdlib/stats-base-dists-levy-mean
This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (@stdlib/stats-base-dists-levy-mean) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

Mean
Lévy distribution expected value.
The expected value for a Lévy random variable with location μ and scale c > 0 is
Installation
npm install @stdlib/stats-base-dists-levy-meanUsage
var mean = require( '@stdlib/stats-base-dists-levy-mean' );mean( mu, c )
Returns the expected value for a Lévy distribution with location parameter mu and scale parameter c.
var y = mean( 2.0, 1.0 );
// returns Infinity
y = mean( 0.0, 1.0 );
// returns Infinity
y = mean( -1.0, 4.0 );
// returns InfinityIf provided NaN as any argument, the function returns NaN.
var y = mean( NaN, 1.0 );
// returns NaN
y = mean( 0.0, NaN );
// returns NaNIf provided c <= 0, the function returns NaN.
var y = mean( 0.0, 0.0 );
