Package Exports

@turf/point-grid

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (@turf/point-grid) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

@turf/point-grid

pointGrid

Takes a bounding box and a cell depth and returns a set of points in a grid.

Parameters

bbox Array<number> extent in [minX, minY, maxX, maxY] order
cellSize number the distance across each cell
units [string] used in calculating cellSize, can be degrees, radians, miles, or kilometers (optional, default kilometers)

Examples

var extent = [-70.823364, -33.553984, -70.473175, -33.302986];
var cellSize = 3;
var units = 'miles';

var grid = turf.pointGrid(extent, cellSize, units);

//=grid

Returns FeatureCollection<Point> grid of points

Installation

Install this module individually:

$ npm install @turf/point-grid

Or install the Turf module that includes it as a function:

$ npm install @turf/turf
