Data-Driven Documents

Package Exports

  • d3
  • d3/build/d3
  • d3/build/d3.min.js
  • d3/index

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (d3) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

D3: Data-Driven Documents

D3 (or D3.js) is a JavaScript library for visualizing data using web standards. D3 helps you bring data to life using SVG, Canvas and HTML. D3 combines powerful visualization and interaction techniques with a data-driven approach to DOM manipulation, giving you the full capabilities of modern browsers and the freedom to design the right visual interface for your data.

Resources

Installing

If you use NPM, npm install d3. Otherwise, download the latest release. The released bundle supports AMD, CommonJS, and vanilla environments. Create a custom bundle using Rollup or your preferred bundler. You can also load directly from d3js.org:

<script src="https://d3js.org/d3.v4.js"></script>

For the minified version:

<script src="https://d3js.org/d3.v4.min.js"></script>

You can also use the standalone D3 microlibraries. For example, d3-selection:

<script src="https://d3js.org/d3-selection.v1.js"></script>

If you prefer to pin to a specific release, try CDNJS or npmcdn.
