If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (expo-file-system) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

Provides access to the local file system on the device.

Installation

This package is pre-installed in managed Expo projects. You may skip the rest of the installation guide if this applies to you.

For bare React Native projects, this package is included in react-native-unimodules, so if you use that then you already have this! If you are intentionally not using that package, follow the stpes below to install expo-file-system manually.

Add the package to your npm dependencies

npm install expo-file-system

Configure for iOS

Run pod install in the ios directory after installing the npm package.

Configure for Android

No additional set up necessary.
