An Expo library for requesting permission to track the users on devices using iOS 14.5 and higher.

Package Exports

  • expo-tracking-transparency
  • expo-tracking-transparency/build/TrackingTransparency.js
  • expo-tracking-transparency/package.json

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (expo-tracking-transparency) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

Readme

expo-tracking-transparency

A library for requesting permission to track the user or their device. Examples of data used for tracking include email address, device ID, advertising ID, etc... This permission is only necessary on iOS 14 and higher; on iOS 13 and below this permission is always granted. If the "Allow Apps to Request to Track" device-level setting is off, this permission will be denied.

For more information on Apple's new App Tracking Transparency framework, please refer to their documentation.
