Gitcut

Gitcut is a modern Git CLI. It makes everyday workflows faster, safer, and more consistent.

Installation

npm install -g gitcut

After installation, use the gt command as a streamlined alternative to git.

Quick Start

1) Run Common Workflows

gt submit "feat: support xxx"
gt bh feature/awesome-feature

2) Initialize Configuration (Optional)

gt --init

This generates a gtconfig.json file in your current directory with the default structure:

Query: Precise Path-Based Retrieval

gt query <remote> <branch> <paths...>

Exclude paths with the ! prefix:

gt query origin main src/components !src/components/deprecated

Run without arguments to enter interactive mode, or use presets from gtconfig.json:
