Gulp extension to add header to file(s) in the pipeline.

Package Exports

  • gulp-header

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (gulp-header) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

        • a file to use for the headerText, if headerText isn't specified
      • other parameters will be passed through to the markdown processor against headerText

Example

var header = require('gulp-header');
var gc = require('gulp-concat');
//header = function([headerText], [options]);

...headerText from string...

    'Copyright {{year}} MyCompany - '+
    'MIT License - '+
    'generated {{now}} - {{foo}} */'+
    '';
gulp.src('./lib/*.js')
    .pipe(gc('merged.js'))
    .pipe(header(headerText, {foo:'bar'}))
    .pipe(gulp.dest('./dist/')

...options - headerText from file...
gulp.src('./lib/*.js')
    .pipe(gc('merged.js'))
