Package Exports

gzipme

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (gzipme) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

A simple Node module and CLI which gzip file for you! :)

It's very simple to use it, just follow the documentation below...

Module Version

Instalation

npm install gzipme

The code

var gzipme = require('gzipme');

gzipme("file.txt"); // it will compress and generate "file.txt.gz" in the same path.

gzipme("file.txt", true); // it will overwrite the "file.txt" replacing to the compressed file.

CLI Version

Instalation

npm install -g gzipme

The Command

gzipme file.txt

to compress and generate "file.txt.gz" in the same path.

gzipme -o file.txt

to overwrite the "file.txt" replacing to the compressed file.
