hasurl

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (hasurl) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

Determine whether Node.js' native WHATWG URL implementation is available.

Optionally, detect functioning experimental implementations in Node 7.x

Installation

Node.js >= 4 is required. To install, type this at the command line:

npm install hasurl

Usage

const hasURL = require('hasurl');

if (hasURL() === true) {
    // bleeding edge stuff
} else {
    // url.parse fallback
}

If you want to support the experimental implementations (not recommended unless you really know what you're doing), pass a true argument:

if (hasURL(true) === true) {
    // bleeding edge stuff
} else {
    // url.parse fallback
}
