when you want process.on('exit') to fire when a process is killed with a signal.

Package Exports

  • signal-exit

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (signal-exit) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

signal-exit

When you want to fire an event no matter how a process exits:

  • reaching the end of execution.
  • explicitly having process.exit(code) called.
  • having process.kill(pid, sig) called.

Use signal-exit.

var onExit = require('signal-exit')

onExit(function (code, signal) {
  console.log('process exited!')
})
