Write a JSON to file disk, also creates directories in the dest path if they don't already exist.

Package Exports

  • write-json

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (write-json) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

write-json NPM version

Write a JSON to file disk, also creates directories in the dest path if they don't already exist.

Install with npm

npm i write-json --save

Usage

var writeJson = require('write-json');

// async
writeJson('foo.json', {abc: 'xyz'}, function(err) {
  if (err) console.log(err);
});

writeJson.sync('foo.json', , {abc: 'xyz'});
  • delete: Delete files and folders and any intermediate directories if they exist (sync and async).
  • write: Write files to disk, creating intermediate directories if they don't exist.

  • read-data: Read JSON or YAML files.
