Basic node.js utility for converting JSON to YAML and writing formatting YAML files to disk.

Install

npm

npm i write-yaml --save

API

Example:

var yaml = require('write-yaml');
yaml('config.yml', {foo: {bar: {baz: 'quux'}}});

Results in config.yml with the following contents:

foo:
  bar:
    baz: quux
  • dest {String}: The destination filepath
  • data {String}: Object of data.
  • options {String}: Options to pass to js-yaml
