Generate coordinates for various shapes: arc, rect, roundedRect, line (with thickness)

Package Exports

  • shape-points

This package does not declare an exports field, so the exports above have been automatically detected and optimized by JSPM instead. If any package subpath is missing, it is recommended to post an issue to the original package (shape-points) to support the "exports" field. If that is not possible, create a JSPM override to customize the exports field for this package.

shape-points

Generate coordinates for simple shapes and curves: arcs, rectangles, rounded rectangles, bezierCurveTo, bezierCurveThrough (i.e., bezier curves through specific points)

rationale

I needed to find the points of a rounded rectangle. Then I had fun adding lots of other shapes and curves.

installation

npm i shape-points

programmatic example

const ShapePoints = require('shape-points')
ShapePoints.pointsInArc = 10 // sets number of points for arcs

const points = ShapePoints.roundedRect(125, 100, 200, 100, 30)
